Your adventure begins with a warm meet-up at your hotel in Sapa, where your local guide and driver will pick you up for a short transfer to Cat Cat village. After a few minutes on the road, you’ll begin your trek by heading downhill into the village. Along the way, you’ll stop to admire a picturesque waterfall and visit a small hydroelectric station before continuing on a dirt trail lined with rice terraces.
The trek leads you through striking landscapes along a narrow river until you reach Y Linh Ho village, home to the Black Hmong people. Here, you'll take a break and enjoy lunch by the riverbank.
After lunch, continue your trek deeper into the stunning Muong Hoa Valley. Follow one of the area’s most popular routes as you pass through Lao Chai village of the Black Hmong and arrive in Ta Van village, inhabited by the Giay ethnic minority. Tonight, you’ll stay in a traditional local house where you can take a walk to soak in the valley views—or even cool off with a swim in the nearby river.
Approx: 5 hours walking/ 1-hour lunch.
After enjoying a hearty breakfast, you’ll set off for Giang Ta Chai village, home of the Red Dao people. Today’s trail winds through a bamboo forest that forms part of the Hoang Lien National Park. On the way, you’ll pause at a scenic waterfall where you can rest and take in the peaceful surroundings.
A bit further along, you’ll stop for lunch in a quiet spot before continuing the final leg of your trek. The path leads you to Su Pan, a small village located beside the main road. From here, your driver will take you back to Sapa by car, marking the end of your two-day trekking experience.
Approx: 1-hour driving/ 3 hours walking/ 1-hour lunch.
