A Wonderful Journey to Southeast Asia
At 08:30, depart by car for a short transfer to Mai Ha village—the starting point of your trek. Begin your walk through Kha village and follow quiet paths around Kha Lake, the heart of Van Mai Valley. This vital irrigation lake supports the surrounding rice fields and sustains local life. Along the way, you’ll pass through peaceful White Thai villages, where locals tend their crops or relax in traditional stilt houses. Enjoy occasional tea breaks and warm conversations along the trail.
Around 11:00, arrive at Te Village—a quiet, forested community nestled in the hills. Take a short rest and engage with the local culture.
By midday, reach Buoc village, where a picnic lunch will be served—either outdoors or in a local home, depending on weather conditions.
After lunch, continue your walk toward Mai Hich village. This last leg of the trek passes through scenic farmland and rural paths, where daily life continues in harmony with nature and tradition.
At around 16:30, return by car to Mai Chau Ecolodge. End of tour services.
